An athlete and musician since childhood, I've always been drawn to tactile experiences (with a simultaneous tendency to hyperfocus on objects with tiny parts). I took up mountain biking 10 years ago after accepting that decades of injuries from kickboxing and running had finally caught up with me. Eventually I started road riding as a complement to trail riding, and in finding a low-impact way to stay healthy, I discovered a new way of life.By working on my own bikes and connecting with the local cycling community, I built a new career as a service technician for two of the largest bike shops in Portland. Now with the opening of Old School Tunes, I’m ready (and excited!) to work directly with my own clients.Old School Tunes is a reflection of my dedication to my family, and to yours. I assess each adult bike as if I‘ll be riding it, and every junior bike like it was for one of my kids.
